Anchovies (Engraulis encrasicolus) belong to the family of Engraulidae. Really common in the Mediterranean Sea and along the Atlantic coasts of  Spain, they are really appreciated for their tender and tasty meat.
Fishing season runs from March to September with a traditional method with special fishnets. Immediately after the catch, the fish is preserved in salt where it matures for a certain period and then it’s put under oil.

Our company moved its first steps importing and distributing the well-known anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea with salt and today we can offer a big selection of choices, both salted and preserved in olive or sunflower oil.
